The ‘She Inspire Awards’ not only recognise the achievements of women in the community, but also enables award winners to grow and share their experiences with others in the community.
The event celebrated the achievements of inspirational women from across the UK, who have reached career milestones or broken down barriers in their field. The judging panel was impressed by Sophie’s nomination which highlighted her success within business, STEM, her commitment to inspiring others, and her leadership skills.
According to the awards organisers, “We are looking to celebrate an inspirational woman in STEM who could be a role model to show women what they can achieve. This Award is designed to identify and share women who are passionate about STEM and good at what they do – She will inspire others by showing what it is possible to achieve and demonstrate to the wider industry the contributions women are making.”
On winning the awards, Sophie said: “I really honestly and truly was not expecting this! It was an absolute privilege to be nominated with so many other inspirational women in STEM and in technology. This nomination means the world to me. I am beyond grateful to be part of this community that is dedicated to supporting women in STEM. To be recognised by your peers in this way is truly inspirational!”
We are looking forward to hearing more great stories from Sophie.
